Termites forage in the first few inches of soil for wood material. By placing the Trelona Advance Termite Bait System directly into the soil around the perimeter of your home, termites will find the highly attractive pre-baited cellulose material contained inside and the colony will begin to use the system as a food source and colony elimination will begin.

Liquid Soil Treatments

When using a liquid soil barrier, our technicians will apply a liquid termiticide in which termites must pass through before they may gain access to a structure. In order to do this, trenches are dug along the outer foundation walls and/or support piers and then filled with a liquid termiticide.

There are often concrete slabs poured up to the foundation wall, such as an attached garage. In this case we cannot dig a trench and will have to drill holes through the garage slab along the entire length of any foundation walls in order to get liquid to those areas.

In addition, it is also necessary at times to drill any voids that may be present in the foundation walls such as hollow block and/or brick veneer in order to apply liquid termiticide to prevent termites from tunneling through the open center of these types of building materials.
